Unable to print to network Hp printer

The printer is a new HP LaserJet 100 colorMFP M175nw

The printer is connected to the network using an Ethernet cable

The printer has a static IP, default gateway, and subnet mask.

We can access the printer over the network using a web browser and the IP address, and we can print reports from the web interface.

We can install the printer without any error messages, and the printer shows up with status "Ready" under Devices and Printers (Windows 7).

The HP install software creates an HP port.  We have tried this port and have gone to add a printer, installed it locally creating a new TCP port with the IP address, but that has not worked either.

We have tried installing the printer on two different computers, neither one can print to the printer.  When we try to print a test page the page sites there for a few minutes and then under Status "Error - Printing"
